grown again. While the purpose of the study was to cultivate the
ability to read the prayer reading of students who have not been up
and need to be grown again. The method used was the method of
demonstration. This method was used to be known and understood by
the students in a real or replica what was demonstrated. Judging from
the results of students' reading ability, that the reading achievement of
students in the first cycle by 70% while those not reached by 30%.
From the results of pre-cycle has been done before the achievement of
student learning is only 30%, whereas in cycle conducted seen that the
achievement of the growth of students' reading ability by 70%, and
that means there is an increase or growth of 40%.

Abstrak: Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini yaitu tentang
kemampuan membaca bacaan shalat siswa yang belum maksimal dan
perlu ditumbuhkan lagi. Sedangkan tujuan dari adanya penelitian ini
ialah untuk menumbuhkan kemampuan membaca bacaan shalat siswa
yang belum maksimal dan perlu ditumbuhkan lagi. Metode yang
digunakan ialah metode demonstrasi. Metode ini digunakan agar dapat
diketahui dan dipahami oleh peserta didik secara nyata atau tiruannya
apa yang didemonstrasikan. Dilihat dari hasil kemampuan membaca
siswa, bahwa ketercapaian membaca siswa pada siklus I sebesar 70%
sedangkan yang tidak tercapai sebesar 30%.Dari hasil siklus yang
dilaksanakan terlihat bahwa penumbuhan kemampuan membaca siswa
dari sebelum dan sesudahnya yaitu dari 30% menjadi 70%, dan itu
artinya ada peningkatan atau pertumbuhan sebesar 40 %.
