PENINGKATAN KOMPETENSI PADA PEMBELAJARAN TEMATIK DI KELAS III MENGGUNAKAN MODEL BERBASIS PARADIGMA PEDAGOGI REFLEKTIF DI SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstract

Abstract : The purpose of this research was to improve the competence of the third grade student in Public Elementary School No 18 Tubung with the implementation of Paradigm Pedagogy Reflective model in learning thematic of mathematic and sosial science subjects. The researcher used class action research (PTK) as the way to reach the research  purpose,where in the process it included 4 steps: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this research was  third grade  students, where in the research process the data was collected through observation and test. Those data then were analyzed by preparing description of: pre-research data, process and competency result in cycle I and II, and the comparison of that competency. As the result the student competency and cognitive ability increased from 16.7% in first cycle to 90% in second cycle. In addition, student’s competence in mathematics subject rose from 75% in cycle one to 100% in cycle II, and the competence in sosial science subject improved from 67% in cycle one and 73% in cycle II. Regarding those result it is concluded that: (1) implementation of paradigm pedagogy reflective could improve cognitive ability of third grade student. (2) implementation of paradigm pedagogy reflective could improve student competence in mathematic and sosial study subjects.

Abstrak : Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: peningkatan kompetensi peserta didik kelas III SDN No  18 Tubung dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran berbasis  PPR dalam pembelajaran tematik pada mata pelajaran matematika dan IPS. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut maka penelitian mengunakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK), dalam PTK terdapat 4 tahap yaitu perencanaan tindakan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Dengan subjek siswa kelas III SDN No 18 Tubung, teknik  pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi dan tes. Data dianalisis dengan langkah–langkah mendeskripsikan data pra penelitian, mendeskripsikan proses dan hasil kompetensi siklus I dan siklus II, dan membandingkan hasil kompetensi  siklus I dan siklus II.    Hasil penelitian ini adalah hasil kompetensi dan kemampuan ranah kongnitif peserta didik kelas III SDN No 18 Tubung mengalami peningkatan, setelah menerapkan PPR dalam proses pembelajaran.  pada siklus I 16,7% dan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 90%. Sedangkan untuk hasil dari kompetensi pada mata pelajaran matematika saat pra siklus nilai persentase hasil pada siklus I 75%, dan pada siklus II 100%. untuk mata pelajaran IPS pada siklus I 67%, dan pada siklus II menjadi 73%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa : (1) terdapat peningkatan pada kemampuan ranah kognitif siswa kelas III setelah menggunakan model PPR, (2) terdapat peningkatan pada hasil kompetensi matematika dan IPS pada siswa, setelah menerapkan model PPR.
